Half-day Cycling To Bat Cave, Visit Kho Muong Village, The Palm Forest

You will start your half day cycling tour from Don Village and head towards Bat Cave, one of the most popular caves in Pu Luong. The ride to the cave is relatively easy, and you will have stunning views of the lush valley and limestone mountains as you pedal along.

After reaching Kho Muong Village, you will leave your bikes then start taking a short and easy trek to Kho Muong Village, one of the most beautiful and remote villages in Pu Luong. The village is located in a deep valley surrounded by mountains and is home to the ethnic Thai people. You will have the chance to visit traditional stilt houses, learn about the daily life of the local people, and even try some of their delicious local cuisine.

From Kho Muong Village, you will continue cycling to Uoi Village. You will then cycle through several small villages and scenic areas, including rice fields, streams, and limestone mountains.

Uoi Village is located at the foot of the mountain, with winding terraced fields, majestic limestone mountains, and traditional houses with thatched roofs and ancient architecture. Behind Uoi Village is a palm forest that locals have planted to use as roofing for their houses and to create a green space for the village. Additionally, there is a stream flowing through the terraced fields where tourists can freely enjoy playing and swimming.

During your visit to Uoi Village, you can immerse yourself in the peaceful and serene nature of the village without pollution and modern devices. You can explore the traditional stilt houses, learn about the daily life of the locals, and even talk, drink and make friends with the hospitable villagers. After the visit, cycle back to your lodge, concluding a memorable and enriching half-day cycling tour.

After exploring Uoi Village, you will cycle back to your lodge, taking in the breathtaking views and fresh air of Pu Luong.

An alternative for Uoi Village is Lan Village.

You will start your cycling tour from Hang Doi and head towards Lan Village, the home of the Thai ethnic group and one of the most famous silk villages in Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will visit a local silk-weaving household to see the process of making traditional Thai silk from cocoon to finished product. You will have the opportunity to witness the silk being dyed, woven, and turned into beautiful scarves, bags, and other textiles, and even learn how to make silk yourself.

After the silk-weaving demonstration, you will have some time to explore the surrounding area, including the local rice paddies, streams, and traditional houses before cycling back to your lodge
